Tight muscles can make it harder to move, cause pain/discomfort, and can lead to more injuries. Tight muscles can be released with sports massage. Stretching out muscle fibres, breaking down rigid tissues, and increasing blood flow through tense muscles are all facilitated by a sports massage. Performance can be maximised and injury risk decreased by routinely using a sports massage to release tense muscles.
